About Ivy

Ivy Klenetsky Halber is a portrait artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.  She seeks to capture the uniqueness of each individual's spirit and personality in her portraits. Klenetsky Halber works primarily in pastel and also paints in oil and watercolor.

She earned her bachelor's degree in studio art from Rutgers College/Mason Gross School of the Arts. Klenetsky Halber has also studied at the Art Students League and at the Pastel Society of America with Sherry Camhy and Suzanne Young.  Additionally, Klenetsky Halber studied privately with pastellist Susan Winter.

Klenetsky Halber has received "First Place" awards in multiple shows at the Art Students League of New York and previously earned a scholarship to study portraiture at the Pastel Society of America.
